Heat pumps with integrated or separate water storage
SPLIT heat pumps are devices consisting of two separate units that are connected to each other by wires filled with refrigerant. The internal unit is mounted inside the building, the external unit - outside. The outdoor unit has a evaporator, compressor, and expansion valve. In turn, the internal unit of the split heat pump contains a condenser. Cooling gas is transported from the outdoor unit, which goes to the condenser, where it gives heat to the installation.
The advantage of split heat pumps is the production of less noise outside the building compared to the MONOBLOK heat pump. It is also more resistant to freezing because water is not discharged outside the building. In the case of a split heat pump, it is necessary to save a larger area in the boiler room for the assembly of the indoor unit.
